Breaking Barriers: Our Unique Transportation Program at Axis Integrated Mental Health

At Axis Integrated Mental Health, we understand that getting to your treatment can sometimes be one of the biggest challenges on your road to recovery. That's why we’ve created a one-of-a-kind transportation program to help ensure that nothing stands in the way of you getting the care you need. This initiative is unique to mental health clinics in Colorado, and it's part of our commitment to removing barriers that prevent patients from receiving treatment.

Making Access Easier for Everyone

For patients to get better, they must be consistent in their treatment plans. Because patients are prohibited from driving after Spravato treatment, we’ve seen how logistical hurdles, like transportation, can make consistent attendance at appointments difficult for many of our patients. While Medicaid patients already have access to free transportation through programs through Transdev, we know that other patients may have transportation plans that occasionally fall through. Our Ride Program was designed to help those patients keep their appointments and maintain the progress they've made with their Spravato program.

How it Works

Every Spravato patient at Axis Integrated Mental Health receives $90 in Uber vouchers to pick them up after treatment if their ride plans fall through. This is enough to cover 3 rides at $30/ride if necessary.
